Chestnut Kits

WINTER HAS ARRIVED AND SO HAVE THE CHESTNUTS

We have available a limited quantity of 'chestnut kits' consisting of a quality chestnut pan and a US made chestnut knife.

They are designed and manufactured specifically for the preparation and cooking of chestnuts.

The perforated chestnut pan is manufactured from black carbon steel and has an enamelled steel handle. It has large perforations which allow for significant flame contact, enhancing the roasted smoky flavour.  After seasoning, the pan will acquire natural non-stick properties.

The chestnut knife is maufactured by Lamson & Goodnow who were established in Shellburne Falls Massachusetts in 1837. The knife is designed specifically to score chestnuts prior to roasting, it has a stainless steel blade and a walnut handle.
