Manufactured by the same company that produces the Ball and Kerr presrving products, these Golden Harvest 'drinking mugs' and pepper and salt shakers have been around in the US for many years.
The Drinking mugs hold a US pint (a bit less than 500ml). They are a solid glass mug and are ideal for your outdoor entertaining or holiday house etc etc. Fitted with regular mouth plastic storage caps, you can pre-fill them for the kids when you travel. Although they have a threaded top, they are not designed for preserving food.
The Golden Harvest pepper and salt shakers hold four US ounces (a bit less than 125ml). They come with white plastic lids and given their size, they will not need to be filled very often, they are sold by the pair.
