Preserving Kits

These Preserving Kits are amazing value. This kit contains everything you need to get started with fresh preserving in your own kitchen.

As Ball no longer make a complete preserving kit, we have put these together ourselves using the same pot and rack used previously by Ball in their kits.

 

This kit includes essential kitchen tools for boiling water heat processing specifically for high-acid foods.

                                           

  

                                                                               

      The Kit includes:

  • 20 litre Boiling Water Canner (Pot) with Jar Rack 
  • 12 Wide Mouth 500ml can or freeze (US one pint) preserving jars with lids and bands
  • Box of eight wide mouth plastic storage caps
  • Box of 12 wide mouth replacement lids 
  • Ball 4 Piece Preserving Utensil kit (jar funnel, jar lifter, lid lifter and bubble remover & headspace tool)
  • A copy of the 124 page American "Preserving Bible" - The Ball Blue Book

Note that this unit is designed to be used on your stovetop (it is not an electric unit).

It is not suitable for a glass/ceramic range.
